Exclusive Use of The Malaya and Spice Room 

Exclusive use of The Malaya and Spice Room is suitable for parties between 200 to 300 guests, offering more flexability and allowing us to further tailor the event to your needs.

Reservations greater than 13 guests please refer to Group Bookings.
Private functions for up to 40 guests please refer to Private Area. 
Private functions for 50 to 100 guests refer to Spice Room.   
All functions for up to 300 guests refer to The Malaya and Spice Room.  

Function Cost for up to 300 guests 

The Malaya and Spice Room is a self contained restaurant with balcony and interior seated dining for up to 300 guests and also has a lounge area for a drink on arrival. To reservae exclusive use of this space we require for aminimum spend anmount to be settled prior to the reservation date.The minimum spend quoted below includes a set up fee of $1,500.00, a 10% service charge and food and beverage to the value: (All Prices are inclusive of GST)

Lunch  
Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - $27,900.00
Thursday or Friday - $36,150.00

Dinner 
Sunday or Monday - $27,900.00
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday - $36,150.00


The minimum expenditure quoted for exclusive use of The Malaya includes a $1,500.00 set up fee, a 10% service charge being $2,400.00 for off peak rate and $3,150.00 for peak rate, along with food and beverage to the value. Amount incurred above the minimum must be settled on the day.

Menu
Private functions are required to order a set menu. Groups are welcome to order one of our set menus or else may create their own, please call Samala or Tri at The Malaya at anytime on (02) 9279 1170 for details. If you or any member or your group have any food sensitivities or allergies please advise management prior to ordering.

Reservations
Reservations are required to be made over the phone, if you would like to make a reservation, or if you have any queries please dont hesitate to call Samala or Tri at The Malaya at anytime on (02) 9279 1170.

Deposit
All tentative bookings will be held for 7 days. All reservations must be confirmed in writing together with 50% of the minimum spend as a deposit. The balance to the minimum is to be settled together with menu and wine choices 14 days prior to the event. Payment can be made by cheque to The Malaya, cash or credit.
