Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon, an hour or more of simmering over a low heat will leave the lamb falling off the bone, and the sauce thick and extra flavoursome. If your butcher doesn’t have lamb chops today, this recipe works wonderfully with lamb shanks too.
