While we are temporarily closed The Malaya will be offering our Malaya at Home service so that you can add a bit of spice to isolation and enjoy a continually changing range of our favourite dishes from the comfort of your own home.
Each week we will bring you a selection of delicious ready-made dishes that only require a quick re-heat before they’re ready to be served.
All dishes are blast-chilled immediately after cooking to preserve quality. Our curries also make the perfect freezer meals to stash away as winter warmers that can be enjoyed at a later date.
How it will work
Every Friday the restaurant will release a selection of dishes that will be available to order until the following Tuesday at 3pm for delivery on either the Thursday or Friday, depending on your delivery locaiton.
As a response to the overwhelming response we have had in recent weeks we have decided to split deliveries over 2 days.
Deliveries to the city's north (north of the harbour/ Parramatta River) will now be delivered on Thursdays.
Deliveries to the city's south (south of the harbour/ Parramatta River) will be delviered to Fridays.
You can also now select to pick up your order on Thursday afternoon from 2-6pm or on Friday morning from 9am-1pm.
Once orders have been placed, we will email you the evening before your delivery with an estimated delivery window for the following day.
Excluding Laksa, all mains are enough for a meal for two when served with rice.

Deliveries will be made on Fridays between 9am and 5pm and we will provide a 2 hour delivery window estimate the evening before .
Delivery will be free for orders over $100. Orders under $100 will incur a $15 delivery fee.
If you would prefer to pick up your order or live outside our delivery range, we are now offering two windows of time for pick up: Thursday 2-6pm and Friday 11am-1pm. You can select a pick-up day when you check out.
Our next delivery will be on Thursday 4 June for the Northern half of the city, above the harbour and Parramatta River, and Friday 5 June for the Southern half of the city, below the harbour and Parramatta River.
