Why not treat your special someone to a Malaya experience this February 14th and spice up your Valentines Day? 

For the occasion our wonderful team of chefs has put together two outstanding Banquet menus for diners to choose between, both sure to win over your special someone’s heart.

There is both a standard and a vegetarian option, with both menus requiring a minimum of 2 guests. The cost is $65.00 per person, or $100.00 per person if you would like to add matching wines.

Children up to 12 years old will be served a Children’s Menu for $35 per child.

For those who would prefer an earlier meal we are offering a fantastic Early lovebird special. This applies to bookings from 5.30pm and the table is required to be vacated by 7.30pm. The cost is $55.00 per person, or $85.00 per person with matching wines.

**Please note we will only be serving the Valentine’s Day Banquet Menus for dinner. Our full a la carte menu will be available only for lunch service only. No changes will be available to the Valentine’s Day Banquet menus. Please advise us of all dietary requirements 48 hours prior to your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate requests, although this cannot be guaranteed.**

An 8% gratuity applies to all non-exclusive parties of 8 people and above.

Booking Policies: Full cancellation of a reservation or a reduction in the number of seats reserved is welcome by 5pm, Thursday 7th February - please call us on 02 9279 1170 to make amendments to your booking. Past this date, an amount of $65.00 per person will be deducted from the credit card on file for full cancellation or reduction in numbers.

Barbequed Atlantic Salmon
Atlantic salmon, skewered, barbequed and served with a mango chutney.

Chicken San Choy Bow
Minced chicken stir-fried with water chestnut, onion, shallots, Malaya curry powder and fresh chilli. Served in a lettuce leaf.

Ayam Perchik
Marinated pieces of chicken thigh fillet skewered, barbequed and served with a Nonya style curry sauce made from lemongrass, coconut milk, fresh chilli and lime leaves.

Matching wine: 150ml gl Nigl 'Gartling' Gruner Veltliner, Kremstal Austria.

Kapitan Prawns
Penang style curry made with fresh chilli and coconut milk served with lightly battered prawns.

Coconut Beef Rendang
Indonesian style curry with an aromatic dry coconut base.
Medium hot

Asparagus and Black Fungus
Fresh asparagus, honey peas, garlic chives, black fungus and mushrooms stir-fried with garlic, soy sauce and chilli.

Steamed Rice

Matching wine: 150ml gl Chalmers Nero d’Avola, Heathcote, VIC.

Valentines Day Vegetarian Menu

Samosa 
A mixture of potato, carrot, onion and spices wrapped in a light pastry skin and deep-fried.

Vegetable San Choy Bow 
Water chestnut, onion, mushroom, carrot and shallot stir-fried, and served in a lettuce leaf.

Sayor Otak
Silken tofu topped with a blend of eggplant, mushroom, tomato, lemongrass and chilli paste, wrapped in a banana leaf and barbequed.

Matching wine: 150ml gl Nigl 'Gartling' Gruner Veltliner, Kremstal Austria.

Salt and Pepper Cauliflower
Florets of cauliflower lightly battered, deep-fried and tossed in fresh chilli, salt, cracked black pepper and shallots.

Vegetable Singapore Noodles
Vermicelli rice noodles stir-fried dry style with Asian green vegetables, bean sprouts, onion, shallot and chilli.

Ma Po Tofu
Silken tofu braised with mushrooms, garlic, chilli, black bean, shallots and peas.

Sayor Masak Lemak 
Malay style vegetable curry cooked with fresh chilli, lemongrass and coconut milk.

Steamed Rice

DESSERT SUPPLIMENT $10.00 per Person
For something sweet guests are welcome to order dessert from the table, this however is subject to availability. To insure availability we have a dessert supplement we welcome you to pre order for $10.00 per person, for this you will receive a black rice pudding, an ice cream ball petit four and a cup of tea or coffee. Satay Chicken
Singaporean style marinated pieces of chicken thigh fillet, skewered, barbequed and served with a satay sauce made from fresh ground peanuts and chilli.

Fried Rice
Rice fried with chicken, roast pork, egg and shallot.

Honey Chicken
Pieces of chicken thigh fillet lightly battered, deep-fried then tossed in honey, pineapple and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Dessert
Ice Cream with Topping.
